“ The vegetables are colorful and fresh, as is everything else. Spring rolls appear to be homemade, the hot 'n' sour soup is rich in flavor and silky smooth. Our favorites are Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Chicken. The last time we ordered a pork dish (June 2024), they skimped on the protein, which was little slivers of dry pork. Regardless, Ming Garden remains our go-to American Chinese takeout restaurant near the Bywater. ”
“ I have never written reviews in Google maps, but I must do it for the Ming Garden. The food and service are superb!! The price is also really reasonable! Love it so much! ”
“ Bean Curd w Szchuan sauce is vegan. You can also ask for the Vegetable Fried Rice without egg and it'll be vegan:) Not many other vegan options but they'd prob let you sub bean curd in for the dishes with meat. They serve in styrofoam but they were nice enough to put my food in the reusable food containers I brought with me. I dined in and the food came out hot and flavorful!! Great portions for the price. It was yummy! The Szechuan sauce was not spicy at all lol so maybe ask for extra spicy if ur actually looking for anything close to Sichuan spice. The person at the counter was nice and helpful. Chill/friendly vibes. Several tables inside but issa pretty small place. No outside seating Recommend for starving vegans looking for affordable good Americanized Chinese food in nola :p ”
“ I order here every chance I get! The orange chicken is my favorite! Food is always hot and fresh ”
“ 5 stars from me this is shrimp fried rice sesame chicken and Singapore Mei feng! ”
“ Came home from a work trip and wanted to just crash on the couch with good food. I love cozy, comfy Chinese take out and this delivered. Lo mein is solid, garlic chicken tasty, love the teriyaki chicken sticks, and a nice little surprise was their hot and sour soup. It was fresh and really well made. If you want Chinese takeout comfort food, they got it! ”
“ The portions are amazing exclamation. Poi've already had two meals and will probably get a third out of what they sell you! The dinners are well seasoned and flavourful. The hot and spicy soup is some of the best I have ever had ”
“ I stopped in for the very first time, I liked the way the place is laid out. The menu is clear and easy to understand. You can eat in or take out. If you eat in the atmosphere is very comfortable with a nice view of buzy Broad Street. ”
